Milkbarn is a one-word poem that evokes the essence of who we are. Our roots are in dairy country, the rolling hills north of San Francisco. We’re nostalgic, yet modern, country, yet urban, rustic and yet clean, cool and timeless. We love seeing the world through a child’s eyes. We love their imaginations, their senses and their wonder – running, romping, daydreaming, gazing at the clouds. That’s what Milkbarn is all about.
We’re still the same company – just a new name that shares a little more about who we are. As always, our products are unique, high quality, and beautifully designed. We look forward to many years ahead working with you, our customers, without whom we wouldn’t be here.
Stacy Phillips, Founder
Stacy founded Zebi Baby, now Milkbarn, in 2006 when she began sewing bibs for her seven month old son. What started as Stacy working at her kitchen table has evolved into a business that distributes products to over a thousand retailers. Stacy lives in Franklin, Tennessee with her husband and three children. She loves reading, traveling, long walks, meaningful conversation, exploring backroads and a good cup of tea.
Haley is Stacy’s seventeen year old daughter and is an amazing artist. This is Haley’s first collection. There is magic in a mother-daughter collaboration. Together they worked to incorporate Haley’s drawings into Milkbarn’s textile designs. Haley is studying aerospace engineering at UC Davis with the hope of one day contributing to the exploration of our galaxy.
